PROBUS DINNER DANCE AT ROYAL MOTOR YACHT CLUB
At the end of Valentine week, some 70 members and guests of the Probus Club of Bournemouth & District celebrated their annual President’s Dinner at the Royal Motor Yacht Club situated on the Sandbanks Peninsula. (This year’s President is former Bournemouth Mayor, David Baldwin.) Gemini Jazz, "swinging jazz standards with vocals", provided music for dancing. The setting was romantic with the lights of Poole Harbour and the cross-Channel ferry clearly visible from the Club Restaurant’s many picture windows.
